On February 9th the "Giant Steps" program in the psychiatry ward of the West Haven Veterans Hospital held a dedication ceremony to for the approximately $3,000 of new computer equipment purchased and donated by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Connecticut. Among the equipment donated was a computer, monitor, scanner, digital camera and about $700 of software. The veterans in the Giant Steps program will use the newly purchased computer equipment as a tool in their recovery process.
