The
Operation Care Packages Committee
held its first collection day Saturday September 25th. Five volunteers from MOPH Chapter One collected thank you messages written by the public (for the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq) on a series of posters the chapter provided. Some of the people also donated money to be used in the purchase of items to be included in the care packages. The posters will be included in the care packages the chapter will be sending to Connecticut servicemen and women in Iraq or Afghanistan.
